Patent Prosecution Attorney

Attorney Job Description: The Washington DC office of a large national law firm is looking for a patent prosecution attorney with 2-5 years of experience to work in the firm’s Life Sciences patent group.  The attorney should have a background in organic chemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or chemical engineering.  The attorney will work on prosecuting patent applications, preparing patent opinion letters, providing intellectual property counseling to clients, and conducting patent due diligence studies in connections with business transactions.  An advanced degree is required.
