Patent Attorney Jobs
Patent prosecution and patent litigation continue to be the hottest sectors in the attorney job market throughout the country. Hiring has remained steady in these practices for several years. Attorneys with electrical engineering and computer science degrees (graduate or undergraduate) continue to be the most desirable candidates. Additionally, patent attorneys with a life sciences or chemistry background are in high demand, especially if they have a graduate degree. Admittance to the Patent Bar is a priority for patent prosecution associates, and, increasingly, it helps to have USPTO admission for litigators as well.
